    Jota has never been about the all round quality of his play, but was clinical when he had a (half) chance. If he can't get back to regularly nicking goals around the box then no reason to keep him.

    I'm glad we didn't use the squad more against Southampton. Rather not take any chances with the league till it's won.

    Indeed. First season, working entirely with players from previous regime. Hit our ceiling for now against a v good side. He will know where we need new signings to be better in those games next year.

    I still can't take PSG seriously, the grand fanfarons, the galatico showboaters avec no backbone, les Tottenham Hotspurs francais. Pff.

    Our lads are going to be well up for this to put in a performance. The crowd will be rocking. Arne will have calmly analysed it, and told Mac to play a bit more here instead of there, giving us control of the game. PSG won't know what hit 'em.

    Don't think we should or will offload too many forwards. Move on Nunez, Chiesa. Get a top centre forward and keep Jota as back-up. Keep Gapko and Diaz competing on left.

    Exactly that. We got hammered with injuries around this time last year which ultimately stopped our momentum and I don’t recall anything like the noise around Arsenal’s injuries this year. They can suck it up like we had to.

    What an effort over this 5 in 15. Especially after starting with the sh*tshow that was the Everton game. 11 out of 15 points, great stuff.
