Get the f*** in!! -
Mane for nothing Matip for free yes I am ashamed and do hate Dire Straits. Usually. There are exceptions. Matip is fantastic and will go down as one of the greats.

The infamous norwegian agent Tor Kristian Karlsen commented on his signing on 24th of june 2015: - Firmino must have been dreaming signing of Jürgen Klopp, by way Klopp has played in recent years. If there is one player who had matched Dortmund's system, so is he. I understand it's not just the manager in charge of transfers at Anfield, if one is to look at things from that point forward and speculate a little. Not going to translate it better to help fuel the conspiracy. edit; I thought and have been thinking along the same lines. No way it was Rodgers. The stats committee probably were. Still, it was the first time I thought Klopp might eventually come.

This game makes me believe something special is in stall. We controlled the game brilliantly form the whistle. Eventually scored a good goal. Lovren f***ed up then made up for it. 2-1 Moreno will not be a feature of this team in the future unless his hands are glued to his a*** so he dares com close enough to stop a cross. And his defensive understanding of the game unbelievably poor. Zaha had every possibility the whole game through but thankfully he was s***. 2-2 Moreno Second half made me convinced we can pull this off, the league I mean, Pardew threw his brilliant tactics out the window and seemed to do an "get angry and do whatever they do#press high" and we looked bad for some time but coped well. We're no pushovers. We are offensively brilliant at times. And we never stop. The Firmino goal was an absolute beauty. Like an in the eye of the storm pass from Henderson, and the silence of that chip. Selhurst park and their f***ing drums. Crystal Palace will win against better opposition plenty of times this season. I don't think many Liverpool supporters where in doubt if we could pull through.

Karius is a good young keeper. Obviously much better than Mignolet. To me he looks like he's comfortable with the ball at his feet and it's just you all pissing yourself.

So it seems this is the new disappointing. Not beating the most expensive and most defensive(?) man u team of all time at home. Being in control of the game, they were s***, when two thirds of our preferred midfield is out. Not ripping them a new one. I was angry we didn't get at them disappointed we didn't hammer them. Thought we would. Pointing fingers at Hendo for being on the cautious side I don't get. With a cumbersome and slow and ballhogging Can and Coutinho playing way to deep as his midfield companions trying to reach a standing still Sturridge there was no way to be sure an attack wouldn't make you overrun once it failed. I appreciated Hendos cautiousness. No doubt in my mind that Coutinho Firmino Mane wouldn't have been the front three if all was well. With the usual Winjaldum Lallana Hendo behind. We'd have run riot. I'm disappointed. We should have hammered them, they are nowhere near as good as us. Angry we didn't smash them. We're capable of so much better. I'll enjoy the away leg.

no way back for him now and quite rightly so. He's f***ed up on so many different levels the last year and him still not getting it and questioning the manager adds another. It's beyond belief really. I thought so much better of him. I was chuffed when we got him, I'm happy we now have a manager who tells him his place and a squad which means we don't miss him

I take it this is aimed at my post. Not sure how you read all that into it, I didn't even think I was being particularly harsh. Maybe I'm missing something. I just find the exercise pointless for the most part and it seems so do they. Hence the need for questions that are out of place like asking about chances of winning the league on opening day. Hoping to get a headline maybe or maybe hoping for something that could come in handy when the knives are out. The point of my initial post if there was one was just admiration for how Klopp handles the press. I think it is sound to not get to friendly and not give them anything. And I regard that as sceptisism not contempt. I don't know what to say about the train ride bit but I find it unpleasant.
-
Indeed. Didn't take Klopp long to let everyone know that he's only there because he has to and would rather spend his time doing his job.
-
Good that. Abba is ace. Short is good. Glad you skipped the all the things they would do bit.
-
Lucas for captain last game in may. Please.
-
I don't think I've ever seen anyone put the press down with such ease. It's honest alright, and natural for him. They don't matter. And they know. I love how he disregards the first question due to how it is delivered and blames his own problems with the language. Only to go on to say all he has to say about the game, making it clear any additional questions are redundant. All you could have asked is answered and we haven't wasted time on listening to your lack of understanding of he game or any agenda. Yet they all fearfully seem to be hopeful they'll be lucky with their question and he'll be interested and maybe like them a bit for asking it. Nah. Time's up.

And now you're gonna believe us We've Gini Wijnaldum

Thanks all for explaining. I assumed I had got it wrong, makes more sense to me now. It doesn't make it any less s*** though. Our run in, him maybe winning the Euros at home. Got to feel for him even if he was the one taking the substance.
-
Not sure I still understand what really happened with the drug test and UEFA. I struggle to make sense of it so please let me know if I'm wrong. Sakho taking fat burners led to his drug test being positive for substances deemed illegal by UEFA. A lot of people, Sakho and club included maybe, expect a lengthy ban form UEFA. The drug in question being on UEFA's list of banned substances made Sakho/club come to the conclusion the better option was that Sakho was not playing any games for club or country while UEFA investigated thus missing both the season run in and the euros to prevent an even lengthier ban. UEFA investigate for months and find that the drug Sakho tested positive which was on their list of banned substances did not belong there. On their list that is. Charges dropped by UEFA. No explanation other than the substance no longer being banned. Is this it?

Well pleased with this. Absolutly love the man. No better to take us up where we belong. Rejoice. No f***. No panic. Rejoice.

Strange as it seems I believe the match going supporters do have power. Klopp will build us a strong team, no doubt it will cost fsg less than the other 'top clubs' but until then frustration might actually hold us back. Lazar Marcowitch, sure I spelt it wrong, is often talked of as a total waste of money. I always thought he's going to be a very good player. With Klopp I feel confident of it. If it doesn't happen I was wrong. Who gives a s***. I want to be right. He wants to be good. Jürgen Klopp wants him to be good. We've got a new promising young keeper, and hopefully won't see Mignolet again. We've got a new young CB who was in Kicker's Bundesliga team of the season, and we've got Grujic who just won the league as a captain for Red Star being 20 years old. And we got them for very little money. I'm pleased by that even if fsg also are. We're going places with Klopp, no doubt about it. The fees might not impress. Let's hope the trophies eventually will. -

The impatience Klopp talked about when he first got here, it's our worst enemy. Maybe we won't be fantastic next season, maybe we won't even be great. What will we do then? I'm not sure our owners are the best in the world but I'm 100% sure we've got the greatest manager in the world. We'll be great given time. -
Who cares what he says. He'd better be a hero whether anyone likes it or not. If he needs to be like.

He's improved quite a lot since Klopp hasn't he and he's made a few vital saves recently. Think Jürgen has made him believe in himself. Still obvious he's nowhere near what we need and I think Klopp begging him up is all about good management as there's no one else. I'm looking forward to having a new keeper come the end of may, preferably two. Mignolet is chaos and not in a good way.
