  1. Norwegian tv said "unless the man mowing the lawn was smashed when he did it Diaz is onside.." .. but no lines.
  2. The red is understandable. unlucky but still. The offside is -corruption- Diaz is clearly onside. Bring axes and sledgehammers second half
  3. See your point but not really. I know.
  4. Looking very good. Potentially a partner for Konate in the not too distant future. I liked what I saw in preseason, but it's only preseason and I liked what I saw today but it's only Leicester. But he is a good CB. Potentially a brilliant one in a few years. I hope we keep him and give him games. Konate and Quansah It's a soul's companion You can feel it everywhere edit: to hell with the shame of tomorrow: Here’s our Jared Quansah Your not getting past la He’s like Sami Hyypiä
  5. Wataru yeah. I really don't know. I really don't know Wataru. -(sorry)- I actually think he'll be very good for us and that he'll may be just what we need in midfield and covering for Trent etc. I think he'll be a positive surprise but more signings are obviously needed. That said I know nothing of him of course other than watching videos.
  6. Very happy we've signed him and think he'll be very good for us and think he'll be worth the money. We probably couldn't afford him later if we did not buy him now because fsg. Not a player I've watched except for videos but looking at quite a few of them I think he has the potential to be as instrumental to the way we will play as Firmino was. Also @crouchinho Congrats! Must feel good to get someone you've wanted for a long time. Feck it, Springsteen is playing a few blocks away. Glory days, they'll Slobozlai Slobobzlai in the wink of a young girls eye
  7. No, you are not being dense. I on the other hand was being very thick. I was trying to make a far fetched point and got my sheiks in a twist. Thanks for pointing it out.
  8. Manchester City is "Da Vinci's" Salvator Mundi, a fake as a means to a cultural war. At least the Louvre got it right when they rejected bin Salman's demands. The FA didn't UEFA didn't, FIFA didn't etc. Bin Salman bought Salvatore Mundi in 2017 at an 155% increased price from Russian billionaire, Dmitry Rybolovlev, who bought it in 2005. This was two years before the largest Da Vinci's exhibition ever was to take place in the Louvre in 2019, marking his death 500 years ago. Bin Salman's demand for lending it to the Louvre was that his painting "Salvatore Mundi", that was to be exhibited for the first time ever, was for it to be placed in the same room as the Mona Lisa. The Mona Lisa was of course to be displayed in the last room of the exhibition alone, but Bin Salman demanded that they were to be the only two paintings in the room at opposite sides of each other - facing each other. The Louvre told Bin Salman to f*** off and no one has seen his (probably) fake and s*** painting since. There is a way. edit: (PS. there's a documentary on Netflix (I think) about the "Salvator Mundi", the corruption and Bin Salman's purchase and the Louvres response called "The Lost Leonardo" if your interested
  9. https://twitter.com/FBAwayDays/status/1667664643722997760?cxt=HHwWgMCz2YyK3qQuAAAA (Manchester City fans celebrate the moment they win the Champions League) Thought it would feel worse and I'm quite happy with my indifference to them finally winning it. We all know how it came to be. City fans don't seem to go crazy about it either. It looks like it means very little to most people.
  10. Took a while but I think I finally got you. I didn't mean to come across as a mod acting angry prick. Reading it back I get that I maybe, well probably did. And I certainly didn't want to make anyone look bad. There are a couple of things in life that makes my blood boil and I should have handled/worded it differently. I did not want to hang anyone out to dry and to be honest I actually thought it was ok. It wasn't. Thanks for pointing it out. @crouchinho I meant no harm by my reaction and I know you didn't mean it the way it read to me. I apologise.
  11. Hadn't thought of that. I'ts just a silly play on Andy Carroll who was s*** and had no aggro. I expected him to lay defences to waste. Many of my dreams turn out this way. EDIT: and also - fair play crouchinho. I know you meant nothing by it. Anyway, Alexis Mac Allister!
  12. Men beating women will never be funny. Never. And it looks to me that this is what you are alluding to. If it is: just NO. I'd edit it out to be honest and if I get my very lacking technical skills to cooperate I'll remove this post.
  13. It's the "by fans, for fans" thing or slogan/phrase or whatever the catchy phrase things are called I think. Feels very weird that I'm the one answering this doesn't it. I've grown old here in the shadows lurking for years and now occasionally come up for air. The green upwards arrows and trophy like things turned me into this. edit: I click those things occasionally in excitement and hence my interaction rate has escalated.
  14. Isn't .ru from Russia? Just wondering if I got it wrong.
  15. Never heard it suggested before. For me i'ts the shouty runny bit. Guess it's the wish for a boot room and a continuity. May very well be misplaced and bad judgement on my part. But, I find that the idea is nice.
  16. I'd like to have both Hendo and Milner at the club as part of the training staff. One will still be stronger and will outlast anyone of the players physically and one to shout with more anger at the the players than can be expected of the staff we have now. Both of them having won everything that is possible to win in club football. Both being sound and would be great role models and know how to persist and appreciate their role in the team in a success will come if you endure kind of way. Both of them have been massive for us. (edit: weird post under this topic maybe, but let them have a year in Leeds and Sunderland and bring them back)
  17. I absolutely love him. Always have always will. He epitomises everything that makes me love Liverpool. I remember when he was Hoffenheim and we allegedly were interested in signing him there was a Norwegian agent saying this was a "Klopp signing" somewhat alluding to Klopp coming. We were s*** at the time, he brought hope, and it was clear from the off he was a very intelligent and technically brilliant footballer. He brought us so much joy and I made weird f***ing sounds when he scored today. He was the first and maybe the most important piece of what became a team to steamroll Europe and the world. Thank you Bobby Firmino. A Liverpool legend.
  18. I've given up on him quite a while ago and I don't think he'll ever be what we need. I'd have preferred to start Matip against Madrid. It'd probably go to s*** as well given his recent form but in some way it'd be easier as it was the old one soon to be replaced. I'd hire a quack doctor and prescribe Gomez a rainforest and Ayahuasca or just sell him.
  19. Of course we miss him. Diaz, Nunes and Salah would be fun. He's got speed an insane shot, grit and works his a*** off and creates chaos if not goals. Diaz or Jota, Diaz every time.
