Wow. Did he understand the instructions? sorry. It's strange though that he's been labelled by Klopp as an intelligent keeper. Seeing him play makes you wonder what he excels at. I don't think he's thick, far from it even if hes goalkeeping actions seem to imply it. Just wondering what the instructions were and if he got it. if it was given on a note I would be expecting origami in return

so confused he forgets to track back. Thats my biggest gripe with him. He can come good, hes got speed and a good shot but theres the twist and turns, the stop of the flow of the game, the blind alleys and the failure to understand his obligations (for lack of a better word) to track back when he's failed to play his fullback when he's overlapping. Ibe dies a little when he f***s up and it doesn't make it better

Klopp was laying into him for not releasing the ball sooner in the first half. Everyone was playing one touch when possible and he was his usual self bringing it sideways/backwards into dangerous areas as the fullback had went past him expecting a pass. And then he was tackled and lost it. Maybe harsh but I feel the first goal could have been avoided if he was 'on'.
