I'm gonna be in Vegas for the derby. When it kicks off at about 4am or something

Anyone any recommendations for where I can or should watch the game?

Obviously the correct answer is just to not bother watching the depression unfold, but I'm a creature of habit

Thanks!

PS, any other recommendations for/about Vegas would be greatly received here

There's a British pub which is about 10 mins from the strip which shows the games I think. Remember bailing over to it at 4am to watch Chelsea vs United a few years back.

You'll probably pass it, but if not just pop into one of the big hotels and ask a concierge desk.

Lucky you. The Crown and Anchor on Tropicana shows English soccer games and I should think that will be number one. They also do meals etc. Don't know where you are staying but from the Tropicana Hotel, drive south down Tropicana and you will find the pub on the lefthand side. As for Vegas itself, if you are hiring a car keep off the Strip. Acquaint yourself with the back streets south of the Strip, go down Koval and you can get into many of the casinos from their back entrance without the hassel of going down the Strip. Oh, and keep off the machines!!

For British papers, you can collect daily from the Excalibur, by the way.

I stayed at New York, New York when I was there and there was an area of the hotel that had loads of TVs showing sports from around the world. It was a champions league day and had a good few of the games on.

I'm sure if you ask the hotel they can make sure our game is on one of the TVs.

I also found a Manc champions league match on one of the channels in my room.

my old man - he's like the tourist board of Vegas :-) You can get football in most of the casino sports bars now - just ask in the morning and they will tell you what's on.

I even got to see the Chelsea v Liverpool CL QF in my hotel room at the Wynn a couple of years ago :-)

Sounds like it should be easy enough then, thanks!

you going to Vegas then, Guy?

you should have said.

To be fair, and reading a slight degree of sarcasm in your tone,i didn't want to go posting things in the wrong forum. And I was fairly brazen about the mult-posting!

They'll have it on in the sports bookies. When I was over there for Pacquiao last year they had the Liverpool Newcastle game on one of their massive projectors. It'll be early there so just ask one of the people there to put it on for you. Shouldn't have to bother with the Crown and Anchor.
