"....he only scores from his own half."

How f***ing long are useless f***ing commentators gonna crack this one??

Darke said it (not for the first time) tonight and, what made it worse, was the fact that he and the jawdroppingly embarrassing Kamara started to piss themselves when he said it.

Toolbags.

I've been quite good recently at not being wound up by commentators.

But Kamara feced me off tonight.

Especially when he said, when Momo was obviously in a bad way, 'at least it'll give Gerrard a chance to play in central midfield'

Na, even better from Kamara was, "Agger appears to have a bandage on his right hand so maybe he's the one that will come off?"

"If he gives the foul, he has to give the penalty, it might have been outside the area, but I've seen them given"

WTF? And then Savage repeats it?

Kamara was outrageously awful.

I think Savage was just trying to say - in his very inarticulate way - that if a foul was given that close to the box, then there's a chance the ref would have (wrongly) given a pen, so the birmingham players could feel like they've been robbed one.

Kamara was just embarrassed that he was screaming "penalty! It's a penalty! I can't believe the ref and the linesman have ignored that" before he even bothered to watch the replay and see that it was a few yards outside the box.

His comment about Agger and his bandage was laughable. As was his attempts to use any link - no matter how tenuous - to have his chance to start up the old Gerrard in the middle debate.

He's an idiot. he spents his days doing championship football and is always ridulouisly biased.

Was such an embarrassment to hear him tonight.

didn't he say, that Agger didn't have the bandage in the first half? Can't have been looking that fecin hard at him.

I don't usually go in for paranoia in football, but f*** me the press really don't like us this season.

With Kamara though, i don't think it's the fact he's biased that makes him so infuriating. Its more to do with the fact he's an imbecile.

Also, are Sky trying to sabotage their league cup coverage? Last nite they had Lovejoy "umm"ing his way through the programme, and that guy tonight wasn't much better.

The level of co-commentators and pundits on Sky this year is atrocious.

I was disappointed that Rushy didn't call the foul on Agger in the lead up to the cynical, but brilliant, Palletta shoulder charge.

Completely agree with that, they are fecin dire. I turned the sound down for a bit tonight, Kamara's inane ramblings were more than I could bear. Had to turn it up again tho' to drown out the arguing from the couple next door (again, grrr!) :disagree:

wow you should live in iceland and try to live with the icelandic commentators. Andy Gray compared to the icelandic is like liverpool to everton

Very true. Most of us here on Iceland are actually hoping the game isn't on the main station (we can choose between games to watch over here) because if it's there we have to listen to the Icelandic commentators.

An example:

Some team won a corner and the commentator said the following "They win a corner in a dangerous position!"

what about early on in the first half when the defender cracked the ball at Robbie's arm

Kamara "That's handball!"

Darke "It hit his arm but the rule says it has to be deliberate"

Kamara "But if he gains an advantage from it......it's handball.....its a rule that needs some clarification...."

NO IT DOESN'T, YOU THICK CN*T!

I was f***ing raging after that. What a f***ing idiot.

Kamara did go to great lengths explaining how brilliant Pennant and Gonzalez are. The Pennant support was appreciated, especially given the way some supposed Liverpool fans comment on him.

I always thought that a shoulder to shoulder was not a foul. OK, Paletta pushed the boundaries somewhat as the fella bounced off him BUT it was shoulder to shoulder

Oh, and you now know why Kamara does "2nd division" commentaries. He's at his level

all this from the numpty who refered to our ex manager as Gerald Houllier for 4 years. We should consider ourselves lucky he doesn't call our current boss Ralfa.

but that commentator (Darke or whatever) is the numpty that always calls Sami - 'Herpia', like he's some orrible disease. :hmm:

His new interpretation was that if some advantage was gained then it was definitely an infringement. And if the rules didn't state that explicitly then they need clarification.

I don't know if that would me up more than the "Agger has come out for the second half with his hand heavily bandaged. It wasn't like that in the first half".

Thick c***. How the hell did he get a job/keep a job on the telly???

They also kept referring to who Rafa would and wouldn't play this Saturday against Arsenal.

I bet Sky love them for plugging their telly games so accurately.

Kamara is an idiot. That bit about the handball that someone's already mentioned on here had me laughing. "That rule needs clarifying..."

Yeah, it needs clarifying so that what you say can then be interpreted as something other than the load of old b*ll*cks it actually was. You t*t.
