anny road Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 so first Sir Roger Hunt and.....Did Hamann I joined the gym at the Marriott Hotel, nr Manchester Airport..... I was in reception and sat right next to me was Didi I had to say hello, and tell him what l legend he was and what a pleasure it was to watch him... We chatted about the game last night, and he said it was a good result but disappointing that we conceded so late.....He said that was the best save he has seen Pepe make, but I disagreed (I said the FA Cup final)...Asked him how life at City was and he said it was enjoyable and the place is buzzing......... He then went for some personal fitness training.... on his way out he tapped me on the back and said good bye top scouse accent too

_00_deathscar Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 Gym at the Marriott? Posh bastid. Out of interest, which save is he talking about?
fyds Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 Always be one of my faves, Didi - sent and signed a shirt and wrote a letter on request to a kid of a neighbour who's dad dies horribly of asbesyosis. The kid is now nearly 20 and still has the shirt framed in his bedroom.
Earl Hafler Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 I f***ing love Didi Hamann. Class all the way
Nerik Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 Met him back in 2000 and he was one of the friendliest players in the squad.
